CA Vice-chair Gharti hopeful of dispute settlement
Janakpurdham, April 10: Vice Chairperson of the Constituent Assembly (CA) Onsari Gharti has expressed the confidence that the current deadlock would be resolved through dialogue as the environment conducive for talks has been created with the 30-party alliance led by the UCPN (Maoist) withdrawing its protest programmes.
Addressing the Third Central General Conference of the Nepal Health Workers Union here today, she said the political parties and their leaders should not neglect the people’s verdict as the people have elected them to the Constituent Assembly for formulating the new constitution and giving a way out to the country from the political deadlock.
The party leaders should be united for delivering the new constitution as it is the first priority of the country at present, she reiterated.
Central president of the Union, Bhagirath Baniya, urged the bodies concerned to resolve the problems besetting the health sector. Six hundred and fifty representatives are attending the general conference that will last for three days. RSS
