KATHMANDU, APR 05 – Nepal Medical Council President Dr Jageshwar Gautam has resigned from his post on Sunday. His resignation comes soon after the government formed an investigating panel as demanded by Dr Govinda KC to probe into the irregularities in medical sector.
“I have resigned after being unable to conduct my duties due to my ill health,” Dr Gautam told eKantipur.
Dr Gautam is also a director of Paropakar Maternity and Women’s Hospital (Prasuti Griha), Thapathali, Kathmandu. He, however, has not resigned from there.
